At YumYumYo, we prioritize the privacy of our users. This privacy policy outlines how we gather, utilize, and safeguard the personal information provided by our users.
Information Collection: In order to offer personalized restaurant recommendations, we collect user locations when permission is granted to access their device location. This location data is stored on the user's device and is not transferred to any database. Additionally, we store emails and other information provided by users for the purpose of creating personalized accounts.
Data Storage: Location data is stored on the user's device, protected by the device's security measures. We also store user-provided data in a database powered by Firebase. We use analytics tools to track events within the app, aiming to enhance our features and understand user interactions. These analytics events are not employed to track individual users.
Data Sharing: We do not share user data with any third parties.
Data Security: Location data stored on the user's device is secured by the device's security measures. While we take reasonable steps to ensure data security, users are encouraged to implement appropriate measures to protect their personal information.
User Rights: Users reserve the right to delete the app from their device, remove their location data, and access, correct, or delete their personal information at any time. Please note that the device's cache may still store location data after app removal. In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we can provide or delete all data pertaining to a user upon request.
